We are a group of young Canadian-Armenian singers raising funds to give better homes to wounded soldiers in Artsakh.
Two years ago, following the Four-Day War of April 2016, the Tufenkian Foundation started an initiative that provides housing support to soldiers wounded while fighting to defend Artsakh,
Many of these brave men, who risked their lives and sacrificed their health for our homeland, now live in horrific housing conditions. Unable to work due to their battle injuries, these heroes cannot repair their homes or buy new ones. Many of them have been homeless for years.
Since April 2016, the Tufenkian Foundation has purchased, built or renovated homes for families of 10 wounded soldiers. The Foundation identifies and supports families in most difficult social and financial situations. Most of these families have small children who are living in housing conditions that are harmful to their health and safety.
